Date night in Lago di Como with Eli + Andrea included a dreamy couples session! I can't tell you what a dang delight it was to add to their date night as their Italian Couples Photographer. Between the magical villas, gorgeous landscape, warm glow of the setting sun, and these two kind-hearted lovers... The afternoon felt like something straight out of a movie.
You can never go wrong with creating a date night around your photoshoot. It's such a fun and romantic way to add something memorable to your date!

Como has something for everyone. Plus if you're lucky, you'll see Georgie out and about. ;) (Yes, George Clooney even has a villa here!) It's equal parts romance and adventure. Let me just paint the scene for you: you can start off with a stroll in the town, enjoy an apperitivo together, and go for walk around the lake. Then if you're up for it, hop on one of the local boats (or rent one yourself!) and go to the little towns nearby for a gelato. If you have your own boat, you can opt for a lil dip in the lake. Once you've had a full afternoon you can stop by in town to get a pizza and some wine. I'll be there to capture it all. ;)

I get it, not all of us are close enough to Lago di Como to pop on over for a day! But I'll let you know on a little secret: there is magic + beauty in doing the most simple things you love doing together and getting it caught on camera. My most favorite photos in the world are seeminly 'mundane' things and I treasure them so much because I can see my loved ones doing what they do best: getting a haircut on the balcony, reading a book in warm italian sun, picking fruit straight off a tree, bike rides with my love, hanging freshly washed laundry on the line.
Do you love blasting your music in the prairie and watching the sunset together? Consider taking your pick-up truck and load it up with a picnic basket filled your favorite foods, blankets, or make some s'mores over a bonfire in the country and do just that. Or maybe you two love longboarding, camping in the woods, playing in the sea, or maybe that means laying in the hammock with your favorite books during golden hour. Doing things you love to do anyways makes a regular ol' photoshoot something really quite special.
