Strasbourg Couples Photoshoot
I'm gonna just come out and say it - the most beautiful part of existing is meeting genuine, kind-hearted humans like Agah and Duygu. We met up in Strasbourg and clicked instantly, laughing hysterically as we walked through Petite france, realizing at all the similarities that Turks and Mexicans share, sharing the hilarious adventures living in another country, and our love of travel.
More than anything, it was an immense joy to see the thoughtful, gentle love these two share for eachother :') Sometimes you meet a couple and you have to sigh out of sheer delight, knowing two people that are truly meant for eachother have found their way into eachother's lives. Needless to say, it was a complete honor to capture these two's relationship on camera as their Strasbourg Couples Photographer on a beautiful summer evening!
Visiting Strasbourg, France
Living right on the border of France means being a quick train ride away from the charming city of Strasbourg. The whole area oozes with delight and cobblestone streets. Historically, Strasbourg has bounced back and forth between being part of Germany and a part of France, so there's a mixture of French and German charm and historic Alsatian architecture. Streets are filled with cute shops and residents sit outside in the sunshine drinking wine, reading books in the park, lovers snuggling in puddles of light by the river.
Strasbourg isn't on many people's radar, although it should be. Using the fast train from Paris, you can get to Strasbourg in under 2 hours. It's perfect weekend or day trip if you find yourself visiting Paris or in Germany's southwest region.
What to do in Strasbourg
If you're visiting Strasbourg for the first time, here's a few places you can't miss!
-Petite France "Little France"
A picturesque and frequently visited area by tourists around the world. Petite France known for it's half-timber houses and cobblestone streets, once the home of tanners, fishermen, and millers
Strasbourg's old town & river, named a UNESCO world heritage site in 1988
A green haven in the middle of the city. This area is perfect for taking a walk along the river, enjoying the charm of crooked houses, sit at a cafe, and enjoy the small shops that sit beside the Ile - all with a view of the Cathedral peeking out in the distance.
-Notre-Dame de Strasbourg Cathedral
The city's most iconic monument
