Couples Photography in Nuremberg, Germany

As a Nuremberg couples photographer, I have sooo much love for each couple I get to work with. But I gotta say, I really do have a particularly soft spot in my heart for international and intercultural couples!

For the last 6 years, I've been navigating the ins and outs of living in Germany with my Italian-German partner myself. You wouldn't believe how much I've learned about culture, norms, and communication when you're balancing 4 different cultures in one relationship! That being said, it's always so much fun to meet other couples who are navigating life from a similar perspective.

As for this session, I had the joy of meeting Sun from Thailand and Melissa from Indonesia. They have had a life full of living in different countries, such as the USA and Singapore, but they now call Germany home. We spent the morning celebrating their life in Nuremberg, Germany with an anniversary photoshoot - not just to celebrate their anniversary, but also to celebrate their life in Germany! It was so, so sweet. ❤️

Nuremberg is such a beautiful place for a couples, anniversary, or 'just because' couples photoshoot! The atmosphere is just oozing with charm - between cobblestone streets, where specialty coffee shops can be found in centuries-old half timbered houses dating back to the medieval ages. It's rich in history, a vibrant restaurant and creative scene. It has everything you need in a big city, but still has all the perks of a small town. Oh, and it is extremely beautiful.

First we made our way to the most picturesque street in Nuremberg called Weißgerbergasse! It's is one of Nuremberg's most picturesque and historically significant streets, located in the heart of the old town. Renowned for its well-preserved medieval charm, this cobblestone lane is lined with beautifully restored half-timbered houses. Actually, these buildings once housed the city's leather tanners, giving the street its name, which translates to "Tanners' Lane."

Walking down Weißgerbergasse feels like stepping back in time, as the architecture transports visitors to the city's rich past.

the Imperial Castle Gardens

Next up on our list was a stop were Nuremberg's Imperial Castle gardens, known as the Burggarten. These gardens, perched on the castle's elevated grounds, provide stunning panoramic views of Nuremberg's old town and its red-roofed buildings.
